Life lessons I learned from my Mother
A mother is a protector, disciplinarian and friend. A mother is a selfless, loving human who must sacrifice many of their wants and needs for the wants and needs of their children. A mother works hard to make sure their child is equipped with the knowledge, skills and abilities to make it as a competent human being. Being a mother is perhaps the hardest, most rewarding job a woman will ever experience.
Never give up
The most important life lesson I have learned from my mother is to never give up. This advice has helped me stay positive, focus on things that are important and stay on path to reach my goals.Life doesn't go the way we want, we just have to keep our head up and focused on the goal.
I learned from my mom to never give up on my dreams. Her dream was to be Nurse but ended up been a Caterer. I will always love her and forever will.
Help others
My mother taught me that showing empathy has the power to change lives.
Like most kids, we were taught to be kind but we were also taught to care. My mom showed us that other people, regardless of their circumstance or personality, were valuable. People have stories that are worth sharing.
Save Money
My parents taught me to save my money by telling me that someday, I would need to have enough money to buy things for myself, they were right about saving. it was totally worth it, it has saved me a lot of times.
Have faith
My mom always tells me to "take everything to God". My mom's advice to me was simple.
Do the things you love
My mother taught me something very valuable. if we don’t do our creative passions for a living, or if we don’t make money from them, then they aren’t valuable. She has always told me to be me and to not compete with anyone else because God has given us all a unique individual talents.
I am Loved
I know without a doubt, that I am loved.
Independent of any of my success or failure, I will always be encouraged, supported, cheered on and loved. It is the greatest gift my mother ever gave me.
A short prayer for my mom
Thank You for giving me the best mom in the world. Please bless her every day and help her in all that she does. Amen!.
