Politics in Nigeria

Nigerian politics takes place within a framework of a federal, presidential, representative democratic republic, in which executive power is exercised by the government.

 

 Nigeria is composed of multiple ethnic groups and cultures and the term Nigerian refers to a citizenship-based civic nationality. Nigerians derive from over 250 ethnic groups and languages. Though there are multiple ethnic groups in Nigeria, economic factors result in significant mobility of Nigerians of multiple ethnic and religious backgrounds to reside in territories in Nigeria that are outside their ethnic or religious background, resulting in the intermixing of the various ethnic and religious groups, especially in Nigeria's cities. 

 

Nigerians are a submissive, easily contented people who have been pressurize by decades of missed opportunities, lies and political manipulation.

 

 If you are taking sides with PDP and APC, you're not doing the Country any good. I know we have the freedom to associate with any political party of our choice, but let us take a moment to compare the reality on ground today with the blurry future projection. We are not getting it right and we shouldn't be experimenting the future of this country on trial and error basis. The political class don't rate us, they don't truly know if we truly exist in Nigeria, they only want us whenever they feel the need to pose camera and appear on national newspapers to get us talking and defending their intentional stupidity.

 

   The president is getting dragged for his WAEC Certificate, the Senate President and Speaker locked the legislative house and will get paid millions of Naira for doing that, NLC will start a showdown on minimum wage, unrest in some part of the country, killings and reprisal attacks in some part, hike in fees of some federal and state owned institutions, people are losing their jobs and our professionals are leaving to find succor outside the country, so many and many more that can't be mentioned are happening and will still happen. But in all, most of our misfortunes were orchestrated by PDP and APC in last 19years. They had the chance to put us up there.
